What is included in the Inspection?

One of our independent building inspectors will visit your home or unit to investigate the problem and its cause(s), as well as providing recommendations for remedial repairs if required. This is documented in a typed report, which details the problem and advises the options which are to overcome it.

Where possible, the Inspector will provide the names of relevant companies or tradespeople you can approach for quotes. This is particularly important if you have a problem that requires a specialist, for instance rising or lateral damp and roof membrane problem.

We are committed to providing independent unbiased advice.

Service Fees and Booking arrangements

Please note that service fees are based on time the inspector spends on-site and time it takes to generate the report. Time spent on-site depends on a type of construction, number of bedrooms, or areas that need to be inspected. The time spent to generate a report depends on the complexity of the report (i.e. an expert witness report, or just general report). All costs quoted include GST.
