What is included in the Inspection, On-site Advice or Assessement

The independent Timber Consultant will visit your home or unit to investigate the problem and its cause(s), as well as providing recommendations for remedial repairs if required. This is documented in a typed report, which details the problem and advises the options which are to overcome it.

Where possible, the Inspector will provide the names of relevant companies or tradesmen you can approach for quotes. This is particularly important if you have a problem that requires a specialist, for instance rising or lateral damp and roof membrane problem.

Tbe Building Centre Network's inspectors & consultants are committed to providing independent, unbiased advice.

Service Fees and Booking arrangements

Please note that service fees depend on time the Timber Consultant spends on-site inspecting and writing up a report, or giving on-site advice and assessment. If the Timber Consultant will require to travel outside his normal service area, there may be a traveling fee involved, which will be communicated to the customer at the time of booking the service. All costs quoted usually include GST.
