Solar Recharger Bag - Built-in Three Panel Recharging Device (6 Volts)

The Solar Recharger Bag has three built-in solar collectors on one side, and a concealed rechargeable battery (‘standby battery’) which is recharged by solar energy, from which you can recharge your portable devices with 6 Volt inputs. The bag has a Laptop Compartment, the separated compartment has padded walls which protects your laptop from impact, scratches, and excessive wear (keep in mind, it will not charge a laptop) or anything that you would carry in a convenient bag this size.
When you are not on the move, the rechargeable ‘standby battery’ can also have energy supplied (topped up) from a car cigarette lighter or from an AC power supply, e.g. a power point.
The Solar Recharger Bag can carry most laptops, or can be used for other ‘carrying’ needs. There are three ways you can use to carry it:

With the two concealable handles, that are zipped away when not needed.

How this unique bag works:
The Solar Recharger Bag features three lightweight built in solar panels built into the outside of the bag. These solar panels generate an electric current when exposed to sunlight. This electric current is stored in the removable ‘standby battery’ (or Power Bank), which connects to the solar panels using the fixed cable. Insert the fixed cable into the IN socket. The ‘standby battery’ is then held in place, by sliding it into the elastic material pouch behind the solar panels. This stored energy from the Power Bank is used to charge your mobile devices, MP3 players, iPods and iPhones by simply connecting them to the ‘standby battery’ (or Power Bank), using the cable or one of the connecting jacks supplied, ‘see below’ to connect to a USB cable adaptor.

The solar panels, which are located on the external front flap, utilise the latest tripple junction amorphous silicon photovoltaic technology, to efficiently capture the broad solar spectrum energy to charge the ‘standby battery’. This spectrum splitting capability is the key to higher energy output from the panels. The solar panels are waterproof, scratch resistant and efficient.
The ‘standby battery’ can also be charged by an AC Adaptor (supplied), or a car cigarette lighter port (Adaptor supplied).
Features of the Bag:

- For maximum organisation of your items required for your busy day, the Solar Recharger Bag has two major padded compartments, each with internal pockets and some pen holders.
- All external zippers are water proof with a soft self-covering flap over the zipper. The zippers themselves are a high quality and inverted so that water cannot seep through, particularly when raining.
- The bag is lightweight and compact, making it practical and convenient for busy, active and people always on the move.
- External dimensions are 41cm wide x 32cm high x 13cm thin.
- Internal dimensions are 40cm wide x 28cm high x 6.5cm thin.

Solar Three Panel Portable Recharger Kit (6 Volts)

This compact, fold away, effective and powerful mobile solar power recharging solution for your mobile devices, can be put in your briefcase, luggage, back pack or camping gear. It is ideal if you are on ‘on the go’ with activities such as camping, hiking or travelling.
If you are regularly or occasionally away for an extended period of time, and unable to access an AC power point to recharge your mobile or cell phone, or other mobile devices such as MP3 players, iPods, PSP or GPS navigation equipment, this is the solution for which you have been waiting.
This smart product is small, lightweight and waterproof, which can also be carried separately. To use it, simply unfold the ‘Solar Kit’ which contains three built-in solar panels and ‘standby battery’. Stand it up, lie it down flat (even on the back shelf of your car) or place it where under direct sunlight. Some hikers or travellers, attach them to their backpacks!

How the Solar Three Panel Portable Recharger Kit works:
The Solar Three Panel Portable Recharger Kit has three lightweight built-in solar panels, built into a rugged folding rectangular wing. When exposed to sunlight, these solar panels generate an electric current, this electric current is stored in the removable ‘standby battery’ (or Power Bank). This ‘standby battery’ clips onto two mini built in terminals behind the solar panels. The ‘standby battery’ is held secure and protected in a zippered pouch designed to keep out dirt and water. This stored energy from the Power Bank is used to charge your mobile devices, MP3 players, iPods and iPhones by simply connecting them to the ‘standby battery’ (or Power Bank), using the cable or one of the connecting jacks supplied, ‘see below’ to connect to a USB cable adaptor.
The solar panels utilise the latest triple junction amorphous silicon photovoltaic technology, to efficiently capture the broad solar spectrum energy to charge the ‘standby battery’. For charging: You can charge the ‘standby battery’ in three ways by:
- strong sunlight, takes approximately 4 hours, less sunlight longer.
- a power point, using the AC Adaptor supplied, takes 2.5 to 3 hours.
- a car cigarette lighter port, using the Adaptor supplied takes 2.5 to 3 hours.

Battery Dimensions: Length- 105mm x Width- 47mm x Thickness- 17mm.
You then connect your mobile device to the ‘standby battery’ using one of the jacks, see the list supplied below, and discharge the stored energy into your mobile device.
The manufacturer claims a full charging of the ‘standby battery’ will provide an average of 4 hours standby time or 10 minutes talk time for typical mobile phones. This depends on the energy consumption demands of your mobile device.
Built into the ‘standby battery’ are a green and red LED lights to indicate status and function of the battery. The manufacturer claims the ‘standby rechargable battery’ has a life span of 3 years. Replacement batteries can be purchased separately and subsequently.
How to charge your mobile device:
Using the energy stored in the ‘standby battery’, you simply connect your mobile device to the battery which is held in a pocket behind the solar cells, using one of the connection devices supplied, which are listed below :
- A USB cable and jack for charging an iPOD, MP3 players, plus 10 inputs jacks for mobile phones and a mini USB jack for GPS.
- Nokia (2 jack options).
- Sony Ericsson (2 jack options).
- Samsung (2 jack options).
- Motorola (2 jack options, one of which is a mini USB).
- LG (2 jack options) all of which plug into the ‘standby battery’.

Warranty
The kit, solar panels and ‘standby battery’ come with a 6 month warranty, subject to normal use. The Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, damage by impact, tampering, accidental damage nor immersion in water.
Solar Single Panel Portable Recharger Kit (5 Volts)

The Solar Single Panel Portable Recharger kit is a compact, lightweight and easy-to-use solar recharger or computer via USB charger of rechargeable batteries, which in turn are used to recharge MP3 players, iPods, mobile phones or Bluetooth devices.
This recharger can also charge either AAA nickel-cadmium (NiCd) rechargeable batteries, or nickel metal hybridge (NiMH) (one set included) rechargeable batteries. The batteries can be charged either by via the solar panel absorbing energy from the sunlight, or by connecting the unit to your computer by USB jacks, supplied.
It has one lightweight and durable solar panel that can be easily carried and stored so that you can have mobile solar power wherever you go. The solar panel is extremely thin, light and uses triple junction technology thus being able to generate a continuous supply of power even on cloudy days. It uses a special bypass diode designed to allow best shadow tolerance. It is laminated with weather resistant polymer for harsh climates and anti-scratching.

How the Solar Single Panel Portable Recharger Kit works:
Carefully insert the two rechargeable batteries supplied into the recharger, ensuring that you correctly position the +ve and -ve ends of each battery, then set the switch to CHARGING.
Decide whether you will be charging the batteries using the solar panel OR by computer via a USB connection.
If by solar energy, place the solar single panel in direct sunlight. The typical charging time for one AAA battery is 3 hours, and for two AAA batteries is 6 hours in intense sunlight.
When the batteries are charged, they can be used in two ways.:
- Insert these now charged batteries in your device that uses AAA batteries.
- Leave the now charged batteries in the charger, move the switch to OUTPUT and connect the device using the USB universal cable to which is attached to the correct jack (see below those supplied).
Depending on the capacity of your device's battery, typically it may provide an average of 4 hours standby time or 10 minutes talk time for mobile phones.
When the device is charged, place the solar recharger in sunlight again, and start the process again. You can leave the recharger in the sun whilst discharging.
Included in the kit are:
- User Manual.
- 1 x Solar Single Panel Portable Recharger.
- 2 x AAA high temperature rechargeable Ni-MH batteries.
- A suction cap using the built-in slot on the rear side which is suitable for glass ( e.g. in your car), to hang the solar recharger in sunlight.
- A USB connection and jack.

- 1 x Sony Ericsson connector
- 1 x Motorola connector which also doubles up as a mini USB jack
- 1 x Samsung connector
- 1 x LG connector
Please Note: This solar charger ‘DOES NOT’ work with Nokia mobile or cell phones as it only produces a 5 Volt output.

Dispatch times, Limited Warranty and Refunds policy
Dispatch
Once full payment has been received for products ordered, it / they will be despatched within 3 working days to metropolitan areas either by post, freight company or by courier. If any delays are expected you will be contacted either by email or phone.
Warranty
If an item gets damaged in transit, it will be replaced at no cost. If you find one of the products to contain manufacturing faults, or returning it to us, it will be replaced at no cost to you or you may get a refund. Simply Email to Smart Products and return any faulty or damaged items within 30 days of purchase.
