VIC Melbourne - Air Conditioning & Heating

Victoria Map

If you are looking to install a cooling or heating system for your home or business, there are a lot of systems to choose from. But what makes us different, and successful, is our approach to customer service.

You will need experienced and professional advice to help select the right system for your need. We recommend that you gather a plan of your home and information about any existing systems that you already have (cooling or heating), then contact us.

Without the experience and knowledge, it is not easy to pick the right system but we can (with your budget in mind), explore options (e.g. building onto existing equipment) and calculate the output needed, so that you will end up with a system that suits you best.

Our services range from design and installation of new systems to service and repairs of existing systems.

Below are the types of systems that we can assist you in:

  • Ducted evaporative cooling
  • Ducted refrigerated air conditioning
  • Add-on air conditioning (to ducted heating)

Below are the explanations of  air condition and heating systems available:

Cooling

Ducted Air
A ducted system provides air conditioned comfort to new and existing homes. The indoor unit is usually located in the ceiling or under the floor with flexible ductwork distributing conditioned air through vents located throughout the house. The compressor is installed outside the home.

Whether you choose evaporative or refrigerated cooling, the quality systems we deal with are quick, quiet, produce cleaner air, and are both efficient to run and available with sophisticated but easy to use control options.

Split Systems
A split system will air condition one room or an area of your home. Discreet wall-mounted models, compact floor consoles and versatile floor and ceiling units are all part of the range we can supply and install.

Split systems are available in cooling only and heating & cooling, plus you can choose from inverter and fixed speed, non-inverter models.

Evaporative Cooling
Evaporative cooling systems draw warm air from outside, in through a filter, which cools and cleans it using water. This form of cooling is the cheapest way to cool your entire house. Inexpensive to run (and contributing the least greenhouse gas emissions), these systems offer cool air which is comfortably moist.

Add-On Air Conditioning
Add On air conditioning is when you have a ducted heater installed with a refrigerated add on system attached, this gives you both heating and cooling through the same duct. It also uses the fan from your ducted heater to deliver cool, filtered and refrigerated air to each room.

Heating

Gas Ducted Heating
Ducted heating works by drawing air from inside your house into a return air grille. From here it then flows into the heater where it's warmed, and then to every room of your home via outlets, in the form of warm, gentle air.

Hydronic Heating
Hydronic heating is central heating, which is water heated by LPG or natural gas, that is fired by a boiler. The water is circulated from the boiler into water pipes that then connect to panel radiators, skirting board convectors or fan convectors that are installed around your home.

One of the many advantages of hydronic heating is that each panel can be individually thermostatically controlled. This ensures that each room is at its ultimate comfort level, so that you only pay for the heat and comfort that you want.

Because hydronic heating is a radiant heat there is no dust being blown around your home, therefore this is the best type of heating for asthmatics or persons with allergies.
