This product comes with a 12 month Manufacturer's Warranty from the date of purchase which include labour and parts. Any problems within the warranty period, simply return the 'Tangle Free' Retracting Hose Reel to the manufacturer. This warranty will become void if there is any attempt to disassemble the unit, which is a dangerous act due to the spring loaded nature of the wind in reel.

If the product is damaged in any way by customer not following the instructions, the warranty is void.

Customer must produce a receipt of purchase for warranty purposes.

The Manufacturer is Based Here in Australia
After the warranty period has expired, as the manufacturer is based here in Australia, any repairs, spare parts and service is available should any necessary servicing in the years ahead be required.
(This longevity and peace of mind is usually not available for imported products from unknown manufacturers.)

Installation Tips

  • It is recommended for the reel to be installed within 1.2 metres of the tap outlet.
  • It is recommended to install the reel unit in a place from which you can reach a greater area.
  • The mounting bracket can be installed onto a brick wall or strong and secure timber.
  • The most appropriate height to mount the reel unit is approximately 1.2 metres from the ground.
  • Do not allow the hose to come in contact with any substances that could damage the hose.
  • In regions of extreme temperature it is recommended that the reel unit be stored indoors during the coldest months.
  • Do not submerge the reel unit in water for cleaning. If the hose is dirty, wipe over before retracting.
  • The best way to keep the reel unit in good working order is to position it where it is protected from harsh weather conditions.
(Installed where minimal exposure to the sun etc.)

Pulling Out and Retracting the Hose

The Reel Unit is designed to rotate to always facilitate the hose to be pulled out and to retract into the reel 'straight'. Do not pull out the hose at an angle to the Reel Unit, you could break or wear out the hose guide. If you need to use your hose around a corner, pull the hose length required out first, let the unit lock the hose, then take the hose you have released around the corner.

Warning

Please 'Do Not' attempt to take the hose reel unit apart, the hose reel contains spring loaded components which allows the hose to retract automatically which have been specially fixed, do not attempt to disassemble it.

'Tangle Free' Retracting Hose Reel optional or additional accessories.
